Matt Henson of Austin, TX died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Seton Medical Center from extensive blood clots in the lungs. Matt was born in Truth of Consequences, New Mexico, May 22, 1976, to Brady and Susan
Henson. As a child Matt lived all over the United States including Florida, Georgia, and Maryland. He received Batchelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University,
where he fell in love with his wife, Patience Moreno. They married the day before their graduation.
In his life Matt was known for being an inventor, an engineer, a marketing manager, a director of innovation, an entrepreneur, an airplane pilot, a runner, a photographer, a hard worker, a car enthusiast, an audiophile, a website builder, a world traveler, and a loving father and husband. He became an expert at everything he did. We will miss his quick wit, his grins, his touch, his silly songs, his perfectly pitched whistling, his soothing voice and his broad sense of humor.
Matt is predeceased by his father and mother, and he is survived by his wife Patience, his children Summer, Cole, and Luke, his brother Josh, his sister Sarah Teter, his grandmother Mary Johnson, and his
website company LiveMosaic.com. All friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, February 18, from 4 – 6 pm at Harrells Funeral Home on 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX (512-443-1366).
